NORTH BONDI
art deco

Subtle colour variations highlight the original character of this Art Deco house, tempered by a relaxed ambience that celebrates the joy of beachside living. A moody entrance and main bedroom are contrasted by an airy living area, opening to an established courtyard garden. Furnishings are intentionally relaxed to allow the client flexibility of use – a calm and loose environment that echoes the spirit of the coast through a new lens.

Dusty green, reflecting the tone of the nearby ocean, saturates the entry walls, joinery and ceilings, lending an unexpected sense of immersion on arrival. The intimate quality of the main bedroom inspired a cocooning grey hue, enhancing its feeling of warmth and enclosure.

Light and airy, the rear living space and dining room is intentionally bright to facilitate a smooth transition to the outdoor area. Though compact in size, this extended living space offers the client ample space to entertain with friends, effortlessly floating between indoor and outdoor settings.
